TLC Youth

TLC believes that God can speak in and through children as well as adults. So we are sensitive to the giftings of our children and take a special interest in raising up, nurturing, and inspiring them to be the mighty men and women of God that they were created to be.

We come alongside the family to help children know, love, and obey Jesus as we believe that children can experience Jesus even at a young age.

Powerhouse Kidz

TLC Kidz ages 3-6 years, and 7-9 years

"You have taught the little children to praise you perfectly. May their example shame and silence your enemies." Psalm 8:2

Our Powerhouse Kidz have fun while learning about Jesus with friends. We use The Bible in every lesson, so that the children begin to understand how the Bible works in dealing with everyday situations. Each time we have class we enjoy worship, prayer, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, arts & crafts, group games, Bible stories, and a host of other ways to bring kids into a closer relationship with Jesus.

Their classes are every Sunday, beginning at the same time as the 2nd and 3rd main services. Children aged 3-6 and those aged 7-9 are housed separately and securely so that they have all the space they need to grow, learn and play with others.

A.R.M.Y. – Anointed Reigning Mighty Youths

TLC Tweens ages 10 – 12 years

"But you have the anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.” 1 John 2:20

TLC Tweens meet for class every Sunday. Their class format is designed to ensure that they gain a strong Biblical foundation through topical studies and the use of interesting lessons that they can connect with, which will equip them to walk in the supernatural power of God.

Our vision is that they will become strong disciples and leaders. As such we nurture and encourage them, teaching them the importance of understanding and accepting their identity in Christ.

These classes begin during the 2nd and 3rd main services. Our tweens are encouraged to worship with the rest of the TLC body and wait for the time when they will be released to their classes.

L.I.T. – Lives Ignited by Transformation

TLC Teens ages 13 to 15 years; 16 to 18 years

On alternate Sundays our two groups of teens meet for class to develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and experience God for who He really is. At every session, our youth gather to worship God through music, relationships, media, and a relevant message. TLC’s prayer is to see this generation of teenagers rise up to a life of excellence in their families, schools, communities, friendships, and relationships for the glory of God. This begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe teens should also spend more time with the larger church body, so their assimilation is easier in young adulthood. So, when they are not in class, they join the service. The classes are as follows:

• 13 - 15 years meet for class on 1st and 3rd Sundays
• 16 - 18 years meet for class on 2nd and 4th Sundays

No classes on 5th Sundays

L.I.T. Bible Study on Fridays

Every Friday, all teens are welcome to meet up for #JusChuckOffFridays. This Bible study submerges the Teens in the Word through themes they can relate to in their daily life. Unless otherwise notified, they meet at St. Andrew High School for Girls on Cecelio Avenue from 7PM – 9PM.
